On Thursday, 27 June 2013, b.telligent took part in IKOM as exhibitor for the fifth time. The career forum of the Technische Universität in Munich is one of the largest in Germany. Over a period of four days, students, graduates and businesses are offered the possibility to meet in person and to exchange ideas.
IKOM Munich
Since its formation in 1989, IKOM has been growing continuously; today it is the largest career forum in Southern Germany. The main focus of the annual career forum is on the subjects economics, science and engineering. Once again, 260+ employers were looking for motivated students of all fields for internships, degree theses or permanent positions this year. There were 12,000+ visitors flocking to the fair in order to inform themselves about career possibilities and potential employers at the booths, in lectures and workshops.
IKOM with the Top Job Business 2013
b.telligent - one of the leading management consultancies for business intelligence, customer relationship management and e-commerce in the DACH region - also used the opportunity to meet future employees in person at IKOM. With the certification as Top Job Business obtained in January, b.telligent is one of the 100 best employers among German mid-sized businesses and an attractive employer for young professionals.
Sebastian Amtage, manager with b.telligent, also participated in IKOM. He took part in the panel discussion of the "IT consulting/services" industry and discussed, among other things, entry and development opportunities with the respective consultancies with five further representatives of other businesses. Mareike Schumacher, in charge of HR & Recruiting with b.telligent, summarizes: "We had very many interesting and informative conversations with students at our booth. In addition to many short conversations, we also had the chance for five one-on-one conversations with students who are interested in an entry opportunity with b.telligent. IKOM once again was a very successful event this year".
