Munich, 20th October 2011 – In order to be able to better develop the online market segment, b.telligent was commissioned by BRITA with the implementation of a campaign management solution including a data warehouse which enables the planning of e-commerce activities on the basis of reliable and fast data evaluation. The successful implementation of the project has been awarded by a jury twice already this year: on 6 June 2011, the business intelligence (BI) solution implemented by b.telligent was awarded the “Best Practice Award Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing 2011“. On the basis of the implemented BI solution, BRITA was able to successfully expand the online business and was thus able to secure the “CRM Best Practice Award 2011” at CRM Expo in Nuremberg on 5 October, 2011.
A crucial feature of the project for the BARC jury was the use of software as a service (SaaS) for e-commerce, CRM and data warehouse (DWH). In the scope of the step-by-step consolidation of the international shop environment into a central SaaS solution by commercetools, a BI and campaign management solution was introduced by b.telligent – likewise as SaaS. Thus, the prerequisites for closed-loop marketing were laid: target groups for e-commerce campaign can be intelligently chosen and the campaign data can be stored in a DWH. Subsequently, the campaign can be analyzed in comparison to buyers without campaign participation and marketing measures can be optimized. The changes thus created have already generated a measurable surplus in turnover and customer loyalty.

By means of the solution created by b.telligent BRITA has successfully utilized previously untapped correlations between purchasing behavior and campaign participation. The jury at the CRM Expo was also convinced of the success of the project. BRITA’s CRM department has thus secured the second important award within three months.
