b.telligent and Cubeware establish Partnership

Solution-oriented Management Consultancy expands BI Portfolio by Strategic Cooperation with Cubeware

Rosenheim, 05 November 2012. Cubeware GmbH, business intelligence (BI) specialist based in Rosenheim with seven additional branch offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA, has once more expanded the circle of its business partners and established a strategic cooperation with b.telligent GmbH & Co. KG. The management consultancy with offices in Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Zürich works on a strictly solution-oriented basis and has comprehensive know-how of all important technologies. b.telligent supports businesses in mass markets in the DACH region in introducing and developing business intelligence, customer relationship management (CRM) and e-commerce; the industry focus is on the sectors of telecommunications, finance, trade and utility. The target of the now established partnership is to use Cubeware’s slim, flexible and innovative BI solutions in joint projects and to successively further expand the client circle.

Acquisition of New Customers and Joint Project Work are the Targets after successfully completed initial Project for ebase

An initial joint project of b.telligent and Cubeware for ebase, the B2B direct bank for banking and brokerage products, has been in use successfully since August 2011. In order to realize the project, b.telligent used software components of Cubeware and Microsoft. The Cubeware Importer now serves as ETL tool, the Cubeware Team Server as application server. The Cubeware Cockpit Version V6pro facilitates the direct entry of the values into a relational database table. The function “Relational Writing” enables comments to the budget entries, a function desired by ebase. The comments are also filed in a relational table. In later evaluations, the function “Drill Out” reads out these comments, links them to the budget values and displays them to the end user in the cockpit. b.telligent quickly integrated these Cubeware products into the Microsoft platforms. Specifically, Microsoft Analysis Services served as multi-dimensional data storage, and a Microsoft SQL Server as relational data storage.

“With Cubeware, b.telligent gained an innovative partner, as is illustrated by the joint ebase project”, says Sebastian Amtage, founder and managing partner of b.telligent. “Our business intelligence product and service portfolio for analysis, planning, reporting and dashboarding in the specialist departments is again expanded due to this partnership and ultimately offers surplus value to our customers.”
