Munich, 7 May 2018 – The third BI Congress hosted by b.telligent has taken place in Munich. The combination of best practices, lectures, and a networking get-together attracted executives, managers and experts from the fields of big data, business intelligence, CRM and DWH to this exclusive gathering on May 3, 2018.
More than 470 specialists from marketing, IT and management responded to the call from organizers b.telligent to attend BI Congress 2018 and experience an up-to-the-minute program designed to keep them abreast of the latest BI trends. With 30 lectures, four workshops and a strong supporting program devoted to big data, marketing automation, IoT, artificial intelligence and other hot topics from the world of BI, the agenda had something for everyone. The busy lecture program at the congress day in Munich on May 3 included talks from Swisscom, Telefonica, BSH Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte, ProSiebenSat.1 Digital, NetCologne and many others.

To cater for the growing number of visitors, the BI Congress moved to the Hilton Munich Park Hotel this year. The supplier exhibition in the foyer was supported by some of b.telligent's market-leading partner companies, who demonstrated many of the solutions that the BI specialists recommend to its customers. Keynote speech by Sascha Lobo: "Why BI and AI are inseparable"
After an intense day spent exchanging ideas and knowledge, and enjoying the many lectures based on real-life experience, visitors were treated to a closing keynote speech by the blogger, author and journalist Sascha Lobo, who shared his thoughts about where the BI journey is taking us and how swarms of sensors, platforms and artificial intelligence are changing the world. His conclusion: "BI and AI are inseparable. In the future, business intelligence and AI will increasingly be deployed to perform an advisory function for businesses."
At the "Networking Get-Together" in the evening, visitors to the third BI Congress were able to relax and discuss the events of the day in comfortable surroundings.
Already planning BI Congress 2020
