Business Objects Produkte bei b.telligent

Garching/Munich, 23 October 2008 – b.telligent, one of the leading management consultancies for business intelligence and reporting solutions in Central Europe, enters into strategic partnership with SAP Germany on consulting in the area of implementation and integration support regarding BusinessObjects products.

The solutions of BusinessObjects, an affiliate of SAP and globally leading provider of business management solutions in real time (Business Performance Optimization) offer all players of a business access to exactly the information they need to make decisions and perform their tasks. For this purpose, the platform integrates not only classic sources of the business, but selectively also data from the business partner network. Thus, information from e.g. the web or emails may be included in the BI platform. Performant text analysis functionalities allow for a subsequent integrated presentation of the data.

“The BI platform of BusinessObjects allows for a central combination of all business-relevant data and for its provision to the users – regardless of their source systems” says Fabian Jasinski, Manager of the Competence Center Reporting with b.telligent. “Uniform platforms constitute the necessary next step in the BI area for many businesses: the transfer from isolated partial systems to one integrated and yet highly flexible whole as response to the ever more linked business environment. We are happy about the partnership because – thanks to the advance technology – we as integrator are able to successfully complete trend-setting projects punctually, at calculable cost and in excellent quality.”

“For b.telligent, this partnership is an excellent step as many of our customers use BusinessObjects as BI solution and we are thus able to further improve our consulting portfolio” says Klaus Blaschek, managing director of b.telligent. This new connection with SAP as group mother of BusinessObjects opens the way for integrative BI scenarios – including closed-loop BI all the way to the ERP backend.

Business intelligence (BI) creates an information advantage. This advantage will only reflect positively in the business results if it is used as broadly as possible. In this context, the degree of BI permeation of a business holds a key role according to the Munich management consultancy: the intelligent expansion and linking of the user groups working with BI exerts a direct positive leverage on the economic success of a business. While BI was needed by the addressees in the past only to perform primarily economic analyses, it is the means for much more comprehensive tasks nowadays, and thus also the driving force for the involvement of all employees in the entire business’s strategy.
