b.telligent has set itself some ambitious goals for the year 2025, including doubling its turnover and workforce in just five years. "But we are already on track to exceed these goals," says Sebastian Amtage, who, together with Klaus Blaschek, founded the company in 2004. Since then, they have opened offices all over Germany and Switzerland and achieved rapid growth in sales, employees, customers and strategic partnerships. To maintain this growth trajectory, Amtage and Blaschek have decided to expand b.telligent's management team. On 1 October, BI expert Klaus-Dieter Schulze joined the consultancy as senior advisor new business & strategy. "We have known Klaus-Dieter for many years," says Blaschek. "We have a lot in common and regularly exchanged views on market developments and trends. The timing was right for both sides. We are very pleased to welcome Klaus-Dieter on board, knowing that we will benefit not only from his vast BI expertise but also from his extensive consulting and management experience."
A topic close to our hearts: business development and sale
Klaus-Dieter Schulze takes on the role of senior advisor new business & strategy with immediate effect. His mission: to develop and expand b.telligent's consulting expertise, to manage and expand the Frankfurt office, and - his specialty - sales. Over the past three decades, he has gained a great deal of experience in consulting and sales in management roles at a number of consulting firms, such as T-Systems and Sopra Steria Consulting. Even though he has been responsible for a wide range of topics, such as CRM, ECM, Design Thinking and IT security, his main interest has always been analytics and data management. Most recently, he was senior vice president at business and IT solutions provider NTT Data Germany. As a founding member of TDWI – and a board member since 2012 – he is seen as one of the most authoritative voices in the German-speaking BI market. He led the TDWI working group "BI Heads of Consulting Companies" since 2013, which is just one of the reasons why he has a strong network in the sector.
"The move to b.telligent has come at just the right moment for me," says Schulze. "The company's development is most impressive. At b.telligent, I can once again focus on my favorite topics of analytics and data management and actively contribute my experience in the areas of business development, sales, as well as in projects. I am also looking forward to helping shape the strategic development of b.telligent."
