Online and Offline Integration

 

Munich, 1  April 2010 – Titled “Online and Offline Integration”, a themed evening with marketing managers and CRM experts from mid-size and large businesses of the Frankfurt region took place in the LeMéridien Parkhotel. Marketing specialists with Unica, b.telligent and Telefónica o2 Germany presented trends and strategies.

Akun Arakin, Chief Evangelist for Internet Marketing with Unica, opened the evening with his presentation on the different perspectives on the handling of data and its constant growth in the online and offline area.

As second orator, Sebastian Amtage, founder and managing partner of b.telligent, presented seven elementary challenges and respective solution strategies in the area of online marketing. The guiding theme of the presentation was the closed loop in the online segement; in this context, the topic “Measuring & Refining” and its special challenges were examined in particular detail.

The official part of the evening was rounded off by a practical presentation given by Juan Bernabe-Moreno, Senior Online-Shop & eCare Manager with Telefónica o2 Germany. Aside from insights into non-monetary targets in online marketing – such as e.g. customer self-care – the presentation focused on the question how one may successfully induce customers who begin an online purchase but do not conclude it to finalize the transaction.

After a comprehensive Q&A session, the evening progressed into an informal networking session during which the participants from the region Frankfurt had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and to approach the orators with detailed questions.
