First place in the category ‘Big Data Consulting’

Augsburg, October 29th 2015 - For the first time ever, the insider portals of Vogel IT-Media awarded the IT awards last week; in a total of 7 categories, the top performers of each subject area were wanted. In this process, b.telligent made the first place in the category 'Big Data Consulting'.

In the run-up to the award ceremony, the editorial offices of the insider portals classified the following 7 categories in which award winners were wanted: BI & Analytics, Big Data Infrastructure, Big Data Consulting, Hadoop, Big Data Management & System Tools, Big Data Middleware and Big Data Databases. Businesses which showed a particularly positive performance in the recent past - either by innovative new technologies, outstanding products and concepts or by forward-looking strategies - made it onto the shortlist.

Between April and August 2015, the insider portals' readers had the chance to cast their votes; 27,600+ readers made use of this opportunity.

The Big Data Insider Award

In the course of a grand evening gala, the chief editors of Vogel IT-Media presented the respective three winners of the awards silver, gold and platinum from the individual portal categories at the Augsburg Steigenberger Hotel "Drei Mohren" on 29 October 2015. Whereas b.telligent was awarded with number 1 platinum, Fritz & Macziol and Atos Information Technology were placed second and third. "The large number of participants from our readership and the excellent feedback by nominees and winners confirm the success of our award format", Werner Nieberle, Managing Director of Vogel IT-Media, summarizes his impressions of the first award ceremony.
