Our technology partner network includes over 50 partners and is an important pillar of our work. Consequently, we put particular emphasis on the in-depth technological expertise of all our employees and the corresponding proof through certifications from our technology partners. b.telligent therefore provides all team members with time and training resources to enable them to develop their skills. As a result, around 250 new certifications are acquired each year.

As a company whose core competence lies in working with data and analytics, the protection of personal data is a particularly high priority for us. We therefore not only fulfill the strict requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), but also rely on numerous other measures to ensure and continuously improve comprehensive data security for our customers and partners as well as for our team and applicants.
A structured data protection management system, consisting of guidelines and processes, enables us to comply with legal requirements on the one hand and to handle potential data protection incidents and requests from data subjects in a coordinated manner on the other. Finally, a comprehensive concept of technical and organizational measures ensures the implementation of data security. Our external data protection officer supports us in reviewing and implementing these issues.
Our employees are obliged to maintain confidentiality and are required to adhere to the strict rules of the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) through regular training on data protection.

The physical and mental health of our employees is very important to us. Workshops on stress management, healthy eating and back health are also an integral part of b.telligent's health management programme. With flexible working time models and home office options, we also enable our team to achieve the best possible work-life balance.
We also support exercise and therefore the health of our team with our bike leasing programme. We also cover the costs of gym visits. Safety is also taken care of: regular training courses for first aiders and fire safety officers as well as safety inspections and maintenance of our buildings ensure a safe working environment.
At b.telligent, social commitment does not end outside the team. At both regional and global level, we are committed to many different projects and to people who need support. For example, a pro bono project for SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. has been one of b.telligent's consulting services for many years. As a data company, we also consciously promote the use of digital devices, for example through IT donations to the Diakonisches Werk Bayern or Labdoo. This gives children and young people access to education, as the devices - equipped with educational software suitable for children - are made available to kids in schools, homes, children's and youth projects in Germany and abroad.
The fact that social commitment is firmly anchored in b.telligent's values is also demonstrated by the commitment of our employees. They regularly supplement our fundraising campaigns with private contributions. For example, donations in cash and in kind have already been collected and distributed for victims of flood disasters, needy children from the German Child Protection Association and those affected by the war in Ukraine. As a regular Christmas campaign, all team members receive a donation voucher that they can invest in a social project of their choice.
Enviroment And Sustainability At b.telligent
We use our resources wisely in order to actively and sustainably reduce our ecological footprint. Sustainability is our promise.
b.telligent is also committed to the responsible and sustainable use of our planet's resources. As a consulting company, employee travel in particular is a major lever in this regard. For every trip, we check whether it is necessary and whether there are alternatives such as web conferences. If travel is absolutely necessary, we make sure to use climate-friendly means of transportation. Air travel is only approved if there is no more climate-friendly alternative. Every year, b.telligent commissions a report to determine the CO2 footprint. This is not only to be monitored and reduced annually; b.telligent also offsets the CO2 emissions generated with the support of the non-profit organization atmosfair by making payments to selected climate protection projects.
The entire b.telligent accounting department dispenses with paper. Among other things, internal performance records and payroll accounting are done digitally, which saves us around 75% paper. At our locations, we largely rely on renewable energies. In addition, all offices are geared towards saving energy, for example by reducing our own server and some network components. All employees are strongly encouraged to avoid waste and unnecessary water consumption.
We recommend our team to use the search engine www.ecosia.org. Ecosia uses the revenue from search queries to plant trees where they are urgently needed. But we don't just provide passive support, we also provide active support: the ‘b.telligent corporate forest’, set up together with the organisation Treedom in Cameroon, comprises around 100 avocado, lemon, cocoa and banana trees, enabling us to secure long-term income opportunities for small local farmers. In addition, ‘our’ forest offsets around 9,000 kg of CO2 every year.
